Peter is the team manager in the challenging FinTech environment. Two main competitors introduced new features to the product which made their clients delighted. Unfortunately Peter’s company’s clients liked them too - and they could not find them in Peter’s company’s product. Peter’s team needed to implement the same functionalities, in order to avoid his company being left far behind the competition. On top, a security audit found a big vulnerability in the back-end code which needed to be fixed asap. The team was overloaded with work, they had been looking for a Senior Back-end Developer they desperately needed for 6 months with no effect, and on top another Senior Developer just resigned.

The team is frustrated with being overloaded and Peter is waiting for next resignations to come. Business is pushing for results. The ad posted on main job boards results with junior and mid CV’s, and there is no one in the team having the time to train them.
